Subban needs to pull his head out of his ass. He is half the player he was before Christmas. Briere I kind of agree with but at the same time I'm not sure he pots more in a bigger role...might even be detrimental. Eller is disappointing for a long time now.

Hard to argue with his record, but there's some signs to be concerned.

His record is outstanding with what he's got, but I don't like the way he manages his personel. He is not managing Subban well, he does not give Galchenyuk enough ice etc. I don't like him.

They are offensively one of the worst teams in the league. Briere has shown flashes even while playing with slugs most of the year.
If I were Subban no way I would commit to a contract with that clown still there.

Babcock didn't play him for that reason, every coach out there will get mad at him if he doesn't stop doing those dumb plays. Don't blame the coach here, it's all on PK

Sure Subban is struggling. He is obviously trying to do what he can to generate some offence. It is not coming from anywhere else. I think he is past the point of learning from his mistakes by sitting on the bench. He knew he (frank)ed up.

I suspect you wouldn't like most of the other options either. Last year he coached a good system, something they could have built on. Now it looks like he's coaching not to lose his job.

I guess its wait and see but other than Gallagher, who just works his ass off, some of the younger players seem to be disconnected from him. Is it effort? I don't think so at least not for all of them and at what point does some of the blame fall on his assistants as well. He was supposedly brought in because of his experience handling younger players but ya its concerning to see guys like Subban and Eller regressing so blatantly

Can't have a D do those stupid plays, too costly, nobody back there to help. He has to learn to play safer and pick his moment to carry the puck.

Babcock didn't play him simply because they were on a role and he didn't want to change anything. It was more abut the combinations than Subban's play.

Therrien will just alienate him and it will eventually cost him his job like in Pitt. Just not soon enough.

What do you think is going to happen when he's been on the ice for over 2 minutes. He drew the penalty at the end of his shift and stayed out for the PP. They had stoppages, it's not like they couldn't get him off.

I can't even believe we're talking about the olympics. There should be a rule, you should only be allowed to say how sick they were.
