that's usually because they release it right away instead of trying to take a big slap shot everytime or waiting a few seconds and letting blockers get in the way.

thing that pisses me off though, is G had a textbook delfection on the shift before that that didn't even get through anything. turnover, shot 5ft wide and a shark skating with stick straight out in front of him and goes right in
