Not fair.

I'd counter with

Kesler and Edler

For

Couturier, Simmonds + 1st.

- Scooby_Doo

Take that 1st off and we can talk. No way I think the Flyers should move Simmonds, Couts, and a 1st. Too much really. We'd lose production on that trade. If I'm the Flyers, I'd say no thank you and move on.

I'd exchange Coburn for l.schenn and morin for laughton

they'll need laughton to replace b.schenn

- Flyfreaky

I'd honestly just move Vinny back to center... We'd still have too many centers though, Vinny, G, Couts, Kesler. And Morin is a player I want to see the Flyers keep, I think we may have stolen the best potential D from that draft. Defensively speaking of course.

Very fair, but in that case, I'd literally only offer this for the two:

Couturier + Mesz + 2nd this year + 2nd next

For

Kesler and Edler

- Flyers_V88

Both Schenn's, Voracek plus Laughton

Myers+2014 1st I'd do it. Gotta remember that next to Datsyuk, Kesler is probably the best 2 way center in the game & will instantly make any team better. Without him and his leadership there is no doubt the Canucks would be picking in the top 3-5 this year.

Toews , Datsyuk and then maybe Kesler.

Kessler's glue factor is exactly whats needed.

Bergeron, Krejci and Soderberg for Kessler.

Oooooooh. This deal is very fair and the only reason I'd say no is just because I don't want to lose a first line winger... But, the value is entirely on par and fair.

Right now, for sure. No question. But, I think that Morin will offer more physicality and a stronger presence on the blue-line later on.

Surely Kesler can do better than that.

I don't think you understand; the crack of dawn isn't safe around Kesler.

Literally, as in that would be the best potential offer that would come from the Flyers in this hypothetical trade proposal situation if I was GM....

For sure, but I'd love to utilize him as a center. His speed, skating, draws, and tenacity I think would better suit most teams when he is in the middle. But I agree, he is one of the few centers in the league who can actually play wing and still be good... We tried that already this year with Lecavalier, and it's safe to say he's best as center lol.

In order to break an addiction you need stop the destructive behavior. Just don't drink, go to meetings.

Snider needs detox and rehab. Nothing of the whole gets better until the Flyers stop chasing the most exciting name available. LaCavalier was just one more crazy signing because he was available. Kessler is a good player. But this will end up being another Carter, JVR or Richards type deal. Sometimes you just need to stop the bad behavior. The Flyers suck at doing trades. So, just stop!

Have to add my homer pick in O'Reilly to that group, hes 2nd tier compared to them but check out his defensive stats, guys slowly moving up to that 1st tier of 2way players

I mentioned this in another thread, but wanted to see the reaction here.
I'd like to see a Heritage Classic trade, Spezza for Kesler.
Ott wants a responsible power forward and Van need scoring (Spezza with Twins on the PP would be stupid!)
Both would have to agree, both have some term left. Spezza's cap hit is higher but cash is less than cap hit.
Maybe an extra piece is added on each side, but seems like a win-win hockey trade.
