According to Craig Custance (not sure how much weight that carries), he says in his top-25 trade targets article on ESPN that MacDonald would cost a second-round pick and a B-level prospect.

So maybe a 2nd round pick and Dahlbeck is what it would cost.

Ladd would be an amazing pick up for any team..

Why would Pittsburgh want Leddy? That one is baffling. Their system is loaded with young promising D-men. Given how they have played with all the injuries on their back end, I really don't think that one has any legs.

I can buy into the idea that the Hawks are interested in the Isles' McDonald. His cap hit is at the league minimum, and with Kostka getting waived over the weekend, it would make sense that Bowman would go after another defenseman, as Al has been saying.

I also believe that at least one of Pirri or Morin will eventually be moved. I've been saying that for most of the season.

Who cares? With the little cap space the Hawks have, I'd be happy with a guy who can play 20 minutes a night with a league minimum salary for defensive depth. (frank) the Corsi numbers.

This is a possibility. Im sure after having a stroke, there are all sorts of concerns for his well being, and ability to lace 'em up, again.

There's always been chatter between Isles & Blackhawks for the past couple of years, but couldn't materialize on that big trade.

Amac would add depth to your D as he's better suited to play the 4,5,6th D spots instead of top 3.
But I think Snow is looking for a 1st pick for Amac instead of 2nd
