Yeah I'm sure the habs aren't very happy about that, but it doesn't really matter, Boodai has played well for them. Besides it's not like Price is gonna have the D in front of him that he had in Sochi.

i wonder if pk can crack the habs line-up?

Has anything been reporting on him wanting gone now ? Or could Yzerman keep him for the play offs then trade him at the draft ?

But again has St. Louis or Yzerman confirmed it? Three NHL sources, that's a pretty broad brush stroke if you ask me. Are we talking scouts? Rival GMs? Teammates? Certainly not the two people who are in a position to confirm it.

And the proper term is suggested. Not confirmed.

What Ek saying is freaken misleading (especially pointing out it's 3 metro teams),I can agree with that, but I find the rest of the media have been pretty fair towards St-Louis by saying that nothing is written in stone.

One thing can be confirmed like you posted , usually when a player talks to a gm about his future on a team is that there is some form of discord between the player and Gm.

50% of all marriage contracts end in divorce. It's only natural that it carries over into sports. A contract only holds weight to an honorable man, I suppose.
- Craola

Well it's certainly never seems to be difficult for the owners/Gm's when it's in their best interests to trade a player is it?! Why do the players all of a sudden get called out when they decided a trade is in their own best interest?!

Plenty of players that are fan favorites and loyal to their organizations that end up departing without consent because it's in the teams best interest. It's a freaking business man, still hard to believe people don't get that.

Update. There are three teams in the Metro division talking to Tampa about St. Louis. It is no secret he has always wanted to play in NY but the Rangers aren't the only team in New York or within 90 miles of NY.

Why does 90% of rumors concerning big names always have to be tied to your Flyers? Philly is over 2 1/2 hours from his home in Greenwich, CT. Philly is NOT NYC, nor remotely similar.

He may very well end up with the Flyers, but to somehow insinuate that he would consider it because of its geographic location is silly. I see Boston as much more likely- a much easier drive to southern CT than Philly.

Also, I have a hard time believing he would end up in NJ or with the Isles. The Rangers may be a paper tiger, but they are much closer to competing for a Cup then their city neighbors.

You have to tie him with the Flyers bc with his NTM he may want to reunite with Vinny as a team to choose to play for. Adding him to Flyers would make them even more deadlier with scoring

Steve Yzerman and Marty St. Louis signed a NMC. If Stevie had approached Marty about waiving it, he would be the dishonorable man in this story. Unfortunately for you, Marty asked for the trade. Sure, it is a business, and he has a "right" (or whatever) to ask to be moved. I will give you that, but I still see it as dishonorable.

Since St. Louis has a NMC, Tampa will accept a trade with Boston and then have to deal him to the Penguins for two college kids and a signed hockey card. (Signed by Mario's assistant)
- GSDIV

That's the fun thing about NMC.... The Lightning don't have to do poop.
