I was reading it as a 1 year deal sign and trade to st louis. Hed have a shot this year and a good shot next year. There are few teams who have a legitamate chance and winnign it and needing a goalie imo of course.

I just don't see it happening. These players don't get to UFA maybe once or twice in a career. Why would he risk signing a one year deal and then getting injured when he knows for certain that he would get 5 or more years. We all know he's a smart guy, I can't see him making a decision like that to agree to 1 year with anyone.
