ive watched some. and i agree Miller is very good, but starting him over Quick is just plain stupid.

I have contributed to the discussion with the Blues fan. Just because I agree with the Blues fan and JVince got all crazy about it, this is where we are at. I think some of the trade proposals he posts are idiotic, and contributed my opinion why. If he or you take that personally I can't help that.

maybe so. i have center ice and watch lots of hockey. inlcuding Sabres games. i know how good Miller is. and i know what he COULD get in return if he wasnt going to be a UFA this offseason. however thats not the case.

What if the Sabres signed Millsy to a 1yr deal before trading Miller to StL? You'd be garunteed to have him next season as well.


Of course if we were to do all that for you, we'd be looking to get that 1st rd pick as well.

Doesn't mean that he feels like he should have gotten more of an opportunity. If you knew Miller as well as you think you do, you'd know that all on your own. He doesn't like to be the guy on the bench. Did you forget how he played after he got snubbed in 06?

Why would he risk signing a one year deal and then getting injured when he knows for certain that he would get 5 or more years. We all know he's a smart guy, I can't see him making a decision like that to agree to 1 year with anyone.

I just don't see it happening. These players don't get to UFA maybe once or twice in a career. Why would he risk signing a one year deal and then getting injured when he knows for certain that he would get 5 or more years.
