All of them have the same schtick and they just got old to me.
Honestly it must be hard jamming on the same stuff day after day but I think the program director needs to be more creative. - sambarugh
Some of these drafts they have are bordering on moronic.

too much IMO
besides Miller does not gurantee a cup. a few years ago i would have agreed, but not now. - spencerelliott
Which part is too much?
Id think your saying the future with Allen, cause I thought Stewart was in the dog house recently and a 1st rd pick isnt that great when its 27 +
or hes just not worth 3 peices |

I don't think that's a small price. Ryan Miller DOES NOT guarantee that they win the cup - druryisclutch
Well sure. Nothing is gaurnteed in this world except death & taxes.
Somebody could always get injured.
And of course the "asking price" & "final price" often vary...
But if St Louis can claim Miller by the deadline, they'll have their strongest roster in franchise history. |

You obviously haven't watched many Sabres games this year.
He's also extra motivated to prove to everyone he should have gotten more playing time in Sochi. |

But to call that a small price to pay is a little much. That's a pretty big, steep price to pay, especially since he could walk after the season anyway. - druryisclutch
Yeah that is too steep, allen will be the starter either next year or the year after, im fine with the 1st and stewart tho, possibly a mid range prospect as well |

No question about it, but the risk reward of giving up Allen + a roster player + a 1st is not a small price to me, and I'm sure not to Blues fans either. |

You're just seeing him on a terrible team with no offense and unproven defense.
The Blues roster is just the opposite.
Swing that deal and you don't have to give up any significant pieces for your run.
You'll be looking at the best Blues roster in their history. |

im sorry my offer was such an insult.
it was honestly about what i think the blues should give. ok maybe the 2nd/3rd rounder was a little weak, but Halak and a 1st would be the max.
Rattie isnt going anywhere. - spencerelliott
the market is what the market is. im guessing that if murrays price had been met, miller would being wearing another jersey by now. having said that, there are at least a couple other teams that are gonna throw their hat in the ring. the offer of halak and a first is extremely underwhelming. st louis certainly doesnt need 3 goalies, and im guessing that moving halak is necessary for the trade to make any sense for them. buffalo would be acquiring a pending ufa to play net for a few weeks, and its probably not a stretch to think they dont wanna win all of the remaining games. the pick is essentially an early second rounder. so if any other team wants to throw a first and/or a good prospect into the mix, it trumps st louis offer. yes, the market is softer than we'd like it to be, but having multiple teams involved should make it respectable. st louis has looked very good the few times that ive seen them play, if im st louis GM, im willing to part with a few other pieces and take a run at both miller and moulson. the blues are a legit cup contender, not some paper tiger racing for 8th, go get the players to finish the job. |

JVince why bother? I've spoken to other blues fans that are more realistic about their team. The guy was looking to get a rise out of someone and he succeed. Same as professional pot stirrer. At least Ryno makes his intentions known right away.
If St Louis stands pat with their current goaltending situation they are looking at another 2nd round exit maybe even a 1st round exit. Only delusional fans think otherwise. That being said I don't expect to get a top prospect out of St Louis, which is why I think Miller gets moved elsewhere. - Stripes77
you can believe what you want. i was NOT here to stir the pot.

I would be fine with Halak and 2014 first and 2015 first . Buffalo retains half of Millers salary to make numbers work. The picks will be low round picks anyways. This way St Louis keeps all its prospects and team chemistry is not disturbed. |

I'd take Allen and Stewart for Miller.
And honestly, if you have up that to get him, I bet he'd feel that he had a debt to the city to stay and win a Cup. That's the kinda guy he is.

maybe so. i have center ice and watch lots of hockey. inlcuding Sabres games. i know how good Miller is. and i know what he COULD get in return if he wasnt going to be a UFA this offseason. however thats not the case.

I have contributed to the discussion with the Blues fan. Just because I agree with the Blues fan and JVince got all crazy about it, this is where we are at. I think some of the trade proposals he posts are idiotic, and contributed my opinion why. If he or you take that personally I can't help that. |

ive watched some. and i agree Miller is very good, but starting him over Quick is just plain stupid.
Quick is the best goalie in the NHL right now IMO. |

He called me his son in one post and told me he'd put me up for adoption. Obviously nobody put two and two together. It was an attempt at a joke that got misinterpreted by a few of you. We can all move on now. |
