As Jsaq said, I would take him in a deal sending Vinny the other way. I highly doubt that would happen though for various reasons.

It's all BS. They put that out there just to see if anyone bites. I doubt Kesler gets moved. He's still a very valuable player.

Maybe they deal him in the offseason when they know what is available in FA.

The thing about Kesler is the same thing you see about Mike Richards -- who wasn't even banged up that much, as a player.

But Kesler's had reconstructive shoulder surgery, at least one concussion, TWO hip surgeries, a broken foot...

Why not shoot for the moon? They can wait for the draft or summer to move him, and they might as well sell high at the TDL, because they're still alive and he's under contract. Not as if he'll leave as a UFA

I think he'll hold up as a 3rd line center for a while. I think his days as a 2nd line center may be numbered though.
