Would appear that David Bolland not likely to return vs #Islanders; has non contact maroon jersey. Stumbled near end of Tues practice #Leafs

and yet, they're ahead of the Leafs in the standings.

What does that tell you about the Leafs?

- Pecafan Fan

that they've played one less game than the leafs.. they lose their next one its the exact same record

come on man.. you dont really expect us to buy that argument do you?

but on a serious note.. whats this about price leaving practice?

Gord Miller @GMillerTSN
Optional practice for the Canadiens this morning, Carey Price faced one shot and then left the ice, appeared to be favoring his leg.

Gord Miller @GMillerTSN
Correction: not an optional for the Canadiens, everyone on the ice now, Price has not returned.

So you're saying...

The Leafs, much like Montreal, are a pretty mediocre team.

Good. Nice to see we're on the same page.

Orr needs to get off that team. And god bless Gleason for joining the United Leafs Federation of Tabarnak Smurf ranglers, giant tree man choppers (Chara), and West Coast killaaaas.

Why the drama?

He won't be traded ..it's really not an option for a team hoping to win some playoff games. So it's simple - let him show what he's worth over the next 3 months and then make a decision on whether he's a fit.

The primary goal is to win playoff games ...not recoup mid round draft picks.

- The Law

See the problem is that you are assuming he comes back 100%. If you look at Karlsson as an example you will see it very well could take a decent amount of time to adjust and heal. By that time he will be a UFA.

Budaj 6-4-1. 1.97 / .926 one shutout.

Price deserves a break if he isn't 100%

Budaj is a good backup IMO

He's not even recovered yet..I think everyone can stop talking about extension and trading him...

And yet you're assuming other teams - also aware of that - are willing to part with picks this week for him?

If he never returns to full health then we could probably guess that he'll have trouble demanding big dollars in the summer.

Can't see trading Bolland, what are teams going to offer..7th rounder?

Leafs keep him and decide in the summer if they want to offer him the most.

that's my 2 cents, especially if he reinjured it again yesterday/this morning

Raymond could give a good pay day for a team with a real cup run coming and have no cap space.

Kuli must go, sorry, only russian I liked.

Franson, get him out now. Send him to Edmonton or Calgary

Bolland is up in air.

Aaron Ekblad. Haydn Fleury. Aaron Haydon. Sign someone this summer and develop.

Bring in a D. Sign leadership 3rd line role.

So no concern at all that we, at that point, would have likely thrown away 3? picks for 15 games from Bolland?

With the market being the way it is, I don't see him taking anything less than 4. That is way too much and has LILES written all over it. With the GM's that are out there, someone would probably throw 4.5 at him regardless of how he looks over the remaining however many games he gets into (if any).

Kesler as a Leaf is a very interesting thought. Give VAN Clarkson a mid round pick and a mediocre prospect
