He wont. He's as good as gone.

Why would anyone want Radulov? D-bag extraordinaire.

- Iggysbff

it will be easier to move him in the off season with a contract in place they as a rental.

Why is this amusing to you? Finland plays the best team game. Nobody on the planet with a morsel of hockey knowledge can deny that fact. Canada has the most talent but they got lucky up to the semi's when they took over.

If Rask plays in the semi's against Sweden, Finland is in the Gold medal game.

Best team game or not, you can't deny the fact that whoever Canada faced, was going to get 2-3 serious scoring chances at most and almost ZERO secondary chances.

They entered the zone, one shot and done. Nobody was going to sustain offensive pressure in our zone with that defensive rotation. Had little to do with goaltending or forwards....or team...or chemistry....or Yzerman....you put those 6 defensemen together and you aren't going to lose many.

He's dealt with one organization, maybe he wants to give it a shot with a different team.

Radulov doesn't strike me as the kind of guy who's going to leave a guaranteed 18.4 million dollars playing hockey at home to come take another crack at the NHL.

A cat walks into a bar.

The cat turns to the bartender and says "Hello."

Everyone in the bar freaks because it's a talking cat and somebody kills it with a chair.

wasn't the comment from the U.S. that the Canadian D was just too big and too mobile.

Don't discount Ralph Krueger putting together almost a perfect defensive scheme with Babcock and the coaching staff.

Can anyone think of one reason that Radulov would want to come back to North America? It makes no sense at all.

It's been his dream to play in Buffalo..

This isn't the first time there's been speculation of Radulov coming back to the NHL to play for Roy. This rumor was making it's rounds last summer when Roy was hired by the Avs as well as when Roy was apparently going to coach the Habs...

I don't know...does it matter who's coaching? Here's how you coach this team.

Line 1, you start. After about 45 - 60 seconds, switch with line 2, followed by 3 then 4.

Price, you're in net, stop the puck.

D....you're about 200% better than the rest of the world so just do your thing.

Pre-tournament the coaching staff had Ralph Krueger come in and teach them about playing on the big ice. Babcock raved about it. They used that information to help design how the team was going to play.

Did you not notice how specific the play was from everyone on the ice?

Roy dealt with primadonna russians in the Q. He'd be just what the doctor ordered for Radulov. Maybe Kovalchuk will end up there as well.

If Murray doesn't start lowering his price for Miller, the guy will walk for absolutely nothing. It's basically get what you can for the next week.

Please God do not bring Holtby to Buffalo, I'd rather have Neuvirth.

There has been a lot of nervousness about the reliability of Russian players over the last few years. Part of it had to do with Sochi and the Russians being drawn to wanting to play in their own country.

I think all the Russian hype and attraction got left behind in Sochi in the 5-0 loss to the Finns. Watch for a significant move of top Russian players wanting back or new stars wanting into the best hockey league in the world.

I thought the US lost to Finland 5-0.

Can't see Miller wanting to stay in the mess that is the Buffalo Sabres?
- LeftCoaster

how is it "mess"?

Sabres are going through change. New ownership and front office. Both owner and front office are fantastic. We have a bunch of first two round picks and a bunch of good prospects. Not to mention we have a lot of cap available after this season (I think around $40 million) so that's a lot.

Not exactly a "mess".

Also, I did rather to trade him for a good return and get a new goalie but I wouldn't complain if Miller decided to stay. I can't see it anyway.

Holtby has better stats than Neuvirth, and actually better than Ryan Miller.
I'd be happy with Holtby and a pick for Miller at this point

St Louis would be foolish to go with Marty over Ryan. If you have the team to win, but need that next level goaltending, why half ass it and cheap out on a dinosaur? Halak is not much worse of an option than Brodeur, so either go all-out or stand pat and exit 3rd round.

Agreed, Marty is a shell of his former self, not a shot at him at all, he just does not have what he used to anymore from what i have seen.

If you pay him enough he will. The Sabres will be a playoff team in 2015-2016 season.
