Yeti could piss in a cup and men would call it wine, but I offer them cold clear water and they squint in suspicion and mutter to each other about how queer it tastes.

Final Fantasy other than 7 sucks donkey Richard and is for JRPG nerdgasming mongoloids who don't actually want to have to play a video game nor struggle through a coherent story written by a person older than thirteen.

While you and nay may be right on storytelling, I mostly don't play older games due to lack of technology.

There's only a select few from yesteryear that I'd still play.

Wasn't that great of a game...didn't really like the whole sphere grid system. And doing the 80 blitzball games to unlock Wakka's final weapon was really a pain in the ass.

I beleive so, as was 8 which I owned on 4 disc and enjoyed at the time.

Downloaded 8 on the PS store last year, played it and thought "okay, this is kinda campy".

Oldest game I've played in the past few years was Mario Party 2 and Mario Kart 64 on a Wii emulator. It required a lot of drinks and good friends though.

The biggest problem with 8 was you had to associate your spells with your skills...so you never used spells since it lowered your skills. The whole GF boost was awesome though. Liked the card game as well.

Meh, never really liked using Wakka anyways... was more of a Auron guy.

I enjoyed that it was the first to have voice acting. Kind of adds to it even though Tidus was just another token FF protagonist whiny emo punk you'd want to strangle.

Wakka sucked but his special attack could do massive damage since it attacked a lot of times...killed the last boss with 1 special with him.

Some games were just ahead of their time even though I laugh at old technology.

Watched some gameplay from A Link To The Past on the SNES on YouTube which is over 20 years old and loved at the time and still want to play it again.

I'll keep that in mind this time.

I felt dirty towards the end when I thought I was powerful enough (I was) that I equipped some sort of jewerelly that made me immune to any enemy encounters. Was just too lazy and wanted to plow through until the end.

I never appreciated the joys of grinding back then.
