Nope, that was Mike (Oilhab).

They had a decent volley going for a while.

McDonagh also wasn't a huge loss at the time.
- EssuieToutJeune

Oh lord, are you seriously suggesting that Beaulieu could become as efficient defensively as McDonagh? Really?

I would be willing to sacrifice Beaulieu in a package to get a good return whether it is a top 4 D or a top 6 FW. But this won't happen, all MB needs to do is entertain offer for Markov until the deadline.

Wasn't Gomez supposed to be a top 6?

Yes, but sometimes the "trade the top prospect for a Top 6F" doesn't always work out.

This would kinda be one of those times. But I don't think anybody had any idea that McD would be this good, or at least this good, this quickly.

Did someone really say Briere was very sought after"?? Now you see why am always saying...."Habs fans have total recall of all things delusional"..He went to Montreal because, just like Gionta, Gomez, Murray, Parros and the rest, players that are over the ill and nobody wants them wind up with the Habs.. Les Delusionitants.

Well, I suspect many of those people now say, "Well, any goalie could haveput up the same numbers or better, considering the defense he had in front of him". Some people are just haters, and nothing will ever change them, or the way they see the world.
- hscesq

Ken Dryden had a team of superstars in front of him in the 70's and still get praised today...apparently it wasn't always the case back then.

People love Patrick Roy now, but he had a lot of detractors when he was here, even if he won this team 2 Stanley cups.

Habs fans, from one generation to the other, are a bunch of bi-polar whiners.

You all know that saying "Numbers dont lie??" Here's one for Montreal fans, try and Wiggles or Hop out of This one..Scouting director Trecor Timmins has been here for 12 years, that means between drafting, grooming players as well as 12 yeaars of free agency as well as by trding, answer me this..After all of that, How come the Canadiens will finish with just One Foward (Pacioretty) hitting FIFTY POINTS?? NOT GOALS...pOINTS, HOW THE FFF SAD IS THAT??
