ugh, i can't believe i'm gonna defend a leafs player........
did you even watch the game against canada? kessel was literally the only player (other than quick) who even showed up for that game. no, he didn't score, but he had multiple good chances, and made things happen when he was on the ice.....and that was despite the fact that he was being matched up against toews, who may be the most complete player in the leauge.
now, if you'll excuse me, i'm gonna go throw up and hate myself. - sensarmy_11

Still the only matchup that scares me. Even with 10 minutes left in game 7, they'd have that goddamn muscle memory of how to pull it out of their ass (i.e: Canadian women's olympic hockey team). |

How about we leave it 'til the Conference final. I can't believe we aren't all hoping for a Leafs-Habs 1st round matchup considering how close it is to happening. |

That's a very close second. I'd love to watch the Buds beat on the Habs for an entire playoff series |

No better way to eliminate those memories than to win the series this year. I think they can do it. But I'd be fine with postponing it until the next round or conf. finals |

So, if both Bolland and Smith are reactivated from LTIR and assuming Ashton is sent back down to the Marlies, the Leafs will be aprox. $20K over the cap.
Who gets moved/sent through waivers? |

That is easy, Orr to 99.99% of people, unfortunately the 00.01% to keep him is Carlyle. |

I am fine knowing they probably will have to beat Boston at some point to get to the next level.. Give me Montreal, Det or even TB as a 1st round this time..I am tired of Boston |

I hear ya, it'd be nice to see a different series, especially because there is always the potential that we only get one. Just want to eradicate the Boston monkey once and for all. Thank You Kessel is gone, replaced by "Game 7". I just want to be done with it all.

One of MacLaren and Orr, you'd think, but Bodie/Smith might also go.

Smith-McClement-Orr/MacLaren

I wouldn't make that bet for obvious reasons, but we're talking Leafs here…aren't we? |

Bodie and Smith have to clear waivers, I'd rather lose Orr on waivers than take a chance on two players that actually contribute to the Leafs. |

Definitely, the team that won 3 playoff games against the big, bad Bruins and almost a 4th. Had them on their heels, taking cheap shots, trying to sneak Chara on the ice every icing call, tossing water bottles on the ice.
Leafs choked, we all know it. But to say they would be lucky to win a game against Boston is a bit over the top |
