sooo... who are the Leafs trading for?
- Feeling Glucky?

If there was a way to get Weber out of Nashville without moving Kessel the other way, I'd jump all over it. Sadly, my dream trade of Lupul, Phaneuf and a pick is just that - a dream.

Still, that guy is such a (frank)ing stud. Maybe with Poile getting smashed in the head (awful accident, poor guy), it would impair his judgment enough to pull the trigger.

I'll just sit back and be disappointed with the 2nd rounders we will get for Kulie and Raymond.

Another d-man. I know its a long shot but i would love to get Dan Girardi. He's brings exactly what we need.

And i dont think hes seeking really big money so i think he could be a great fit. Not sure what would go back to the rangers in the deal though

This is more realistic than my pipe dream. They could have Franson and his contract headaches, and Staubitz. Eat a Richard Glen, eat a Richard!

I think you ride Kule out until the end of the year. I think hes very under appreciated. Plays a good defensive roll on a team who really needs it.

He wont bring you the goals we've all come to terms with that i think. We have 6 other forwards who can score goals for us. Bottom line is i wouldnt trade him

I think he lost the use of his right eye... so maybe put weber's name all the way to the right of the page, with a few scrubs to the left, and he'll sign it without realizing.

Phaneuf+Lupul for Klune, Gaustad... ... .. .. ... .. Weber.

do you look to package him after the season then?

sadly its not all about the on ice product anymore, he is a UFA with similar career stats to david clarkson.

the leafs put a lot of time and money into his development to move him (not even, move his rights) at the draft for a 3rd rounder or something along those lines.

Shows what the media knows--nothing. Kessel did nothing when it counted. Zero points in the medal games.
- haymac

Erik Karlsson didn't do anything in his medal game and he still got silver.

food for thought.....Oilers should have drafted Seguin, Landeskog, and any of Trouba or Reilly or Murray.

fair enough................instead of saying he isn't a fighter, i'll rephrase to say he isn't a good fighter.

maybe kaleta was a bad example. i guess he's more like neil then, only neil is a better fighter.

that being said, i agree with you in that i'd definitely take him on my team.

- sensarmy_11

Kaleta's fight stats are inflated by all the times he turtled while someone was giving him a well deserved beat down
Youtube has a whole page of 'em...

you never know.. i think what nonis does with kuli will signify what management thinks the leafs post season chances are.

if they think they get into the 2nd or 3rd round my guess is they keep him.

Now to Mason Raymond. Im on the fence with him. I think you keep him if you can resign him for around 2.5-3 mil ish? I think he likes playing in TO maybe will take a little pay cut.

Probably will be asking for more. If thats the case move him

kuli is going to cost 4+

there will be enough market wide interest to drive the price up that high

depends.. i say move him if he is playing 3rd line minutes.. he plays with no physicality (or next to none) and that just doesnt fit with carlyle's approach.

might as well get a nice lil return for him.. anything is a plus since we signed him for nothing.
