Agreed, if its true.

I hope we trade Reimer for some good value, and then turn around and pick Brodeur up for cheap.....simply because I would just love to see him on the Leafs, I think he would mesh well with Bernier, and he's a good insurance policy in the playoffs.

Word on the street is MSL has one of the biggest egos in hockey. If that's true, this would make sense.

I hope we trade Reimer for some good value, and then turn around and pick Brodeur up for cheap.....simply because I would just love to see him on the Leafs, I think he would mesh well with Bernier, and he's a good insurance policy in the playoffs.

2) If Brodeur is moved, it's not to become someone's insurance policy, it's to be THE guy.

Yeah, it is pretty lame...but you do have to wonder why he was left out in the first place. I do think he's better than a few guys selected instead of him initially. It seems rather immature of him to demand a trade, especially when he's the Captain.

I'm beginning to think next year will be his last season. Unless he can stage some remarkable numbers over the last quarter of this campaign.
