Give House of Cards a look.

Do we know if Komarov can sign with the Leafs after his KHL season is over? Like a junior player going to the AHL for some seasoning. I figure it would be mutually beneficial if he could as it would give the Leafs some depth and grit for the stretch and playoffs, and give him a chance to tack on an extra ~500K on his next contract. |

pretty sure he'd have to pass through waivers because he signed more than halfway through the season. |

I believe he could yes... kinda like how Silfverberg joined the Sens for the playoffs 2 years back after his season ended in Sweden. |

This only applies to UFA's.
If Komarov's NHL rights still belongs to the Leafs, he doesn't have to go through Waivers.
Radulov is another example when he played for Nashville in the playoffs. |

He was already under contract though, no?
Komarov is still a free agent in the NHL's eyes. |

I'd have to check if he was....
Edit: Yup, you were right, he was signed in 2011, joined the team in 2012... same with Radulov who hadn't finished his contract with the Preds.

Interesting.
Yea, luring him over with a 500k salary(which would be like $125k, because he missed most of the season, along with a 500k signing bonus would be pretty appealing. |

Waivers, eh? (frank).
I thought a player was only waiver eligible after a certain number of NHL games played. Is that wrong? |

canada is always considered a favorite anything other than gold is a disappointment.
americans should have been happy to even play for a medal. - Sammich
Exactly - their attitude is the typical Canadian attitude when it comes to hockey medals. We're the last country that should be criticizing them for that. |

i have no issue if they have a Gold or bust attitude.. thats up to them. But I suspect when they are nearing the end of the careers the would value that Broze they could have probably won if they put value in it now |

Big time. Can't say that I understand that attitude either. Look at Finland, they value their bronzes and they've won more medals in the pro era than any other country. |

I dont buy the US quit imo the better team won and that was the Finns...Quitting/not showing up is just an excuse for losing...
Is the "better team won" not possible??.. |

They played as a team and won Bronze...It's an insult to say they won because the US didn't show up... |
