i know, wang spends to the cap floor...if there is no salary cap, that mentality might not be the same.

I think if we have a top 2 pick we use it.. Getting the Brothers Reinhart together cant be a bad thing or grabbing Ekblad as a future top pairing d-men is a no brainer. after those 2... some good players but I think the talent level dips & we pass on our pick to Buffalo.

1) cappy doesn't get fired b/c now his reason for losing post Olympics is that he is missing his star player.
2) snow doesn't trade vanek b/c we need some skill on top line and he doesn't want to upset the season ticket holders with isles losing.

Yep. It was all over after they went 3-14-3 from Nov 5th to Dec 14th. That's embarrassing, yet nothing was changed.

Yep but I feel we will have a better shot at seeing Sundstrom and Lee as well which I'm thinking might have stayed there? Strome was coming back whether Tavares got injured or not.
