your roster is untalented. it's simply fact. outside of tavares and okposo and nielsen, it's absolute trash. you have NO winners on that team. I for one said JT getting hurt reminded me of Harvey getting hurt last season, it's not good for NY sports, we don't get to have it as easy as Boston because they have only one team in each sport, this town gets divided but it doesn't mean great players get hated on when hurt, I hope JT makes a complete comeback

JT will never be the same. look at rose, look at RG3. once you get this injury once, you're suspect to getting it much easier in the future. when he returns, it's going to take him a full season to get confidence back in his knee and even then he will be 1 collision away from being placed in a wheelchair.

i wish tavares well but suck it islanders! the one player that IS your team is now damaged goods and while it sucks thats such a talented player is hurt i love seeing your franchise get even sadder.

The Isles made the playoffs because of the shortened season. They went on a streak and some secondary players got hot. In a full season they would have dropped out. Cappy sucks. His player decisions suck. His game management sucks. The guy sucks as a coach, plain and simple.

No one thought they would win the cup. No one thought they would get past the first round even if they did manage to make the playoffs.

What did I say a month ago? What's in the file? He was a 5th Center, what if Kesler did break his hand, then what? You want yo complain about, Wheeler or Pacioretty go right ahead but get off the Stepan selection, it's so old and makes no sense to isolate him, no?

I understand your point about Stephan, but honestly Parise could have been the emergency back-up C if Kesler or any other C got injured. Paccioretty deserved the spot, I don't think Wheeler did and would have preferred Ryan instead.

If Stephan would have played, it would have been 4th line mins, so really anyone could have taken that position, even if a player never played C before.
