I lived in Toronto for 3 years and met alot of Canadians who envied the fact that I was from New York. I don't think other Canadians would like you speaking for them despite whether or not you are part of the student government of your high school class.

I'm from Toronto, we're the only place that even resembles USA, with a Canadian splash to it. We envy New York because the City is well taken care of, not New York itself. With cheap taxis and a public transit system that works. We are just too polite to tell our city to step it up

75 dollars to go 20 minutes up a road from DT Toronto isn't right. And we do that because the bus would take 3 hours.

You're country has stereotypes because they FIT, just like ours do, we embrace ours though because they're awesome!

Just like Toronto isn't like the rest of Canada, New York isn't like the majority of the USA.

Here's my viewpoint.

It's just as believable or unbelievable that god/God created everything versus the big bang happening.

Both are very unlikely but plausible.

I don't mean to turn this into a religious convo, but personally, I don't know how anyone can be an atheist. There may be a God we don't know about, there may not be.

The point being, none of us know. So how can atheists know there is no God?

Exactly. Lumping all Christians, Muslims, etc. into one group who thinks the same just shows a lack of knowledge on the subject. A majority of moderate Christians believe in evolution of some sort and believe in science.
