The only thing I've got from casually watching is ...the goal is to get as many rocks close to the bullsye as possible compared to your competition. Is that the basis of this game?

Big bad high scoring Team USA could only score 2 goals against the Russian D corps that included Anton Belov. Finland, the team that mustered 5 scoring chances against Canada scored 3 on Russia yesterday.

I think it will be a tough game, but I will be surprised if the US wins handily. I don't think they'll find Canada's D gives up scoring chances as easily as the rest of the teams they've played in this tourney.

yes..the button its called.

example
if you have 3 rocks closer than your opponent you get 3 points.

if they have 3 rocks closest to the button and we have last rock you can just put the last rock the closest and you get 1 point, they get nothing
