Finland up 2-0. Looking like no medal for the US. - rmdevil313
Haven't even bothered watching a minute of that game. We had two teams I cared about beating: Russia and Canada. We got halfway there, so I suppose its not all bad. |

BIG BUFF SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE IVER (frank)ING ORPIK
OH AND BLAKE (frank)ING WHEELER YEAH LETS PICK HIM OVER RYAN AND OKPOSO - shvingter88
I like Yandle over Buff, think his skating could have opened his game up a lot more and I trust him a little more defensively. Ryan being left off was stupid. They didn't even have to play him if they didn't want to, but what the hell did stepan bring in the press box all tourney? |

Omg i know (frank) oprik and i know Martin didn't play but (frank) him too. Faulk making the team made little sense to me. Could of used Byfuglin on offense yesterday we got manhandled. Canada wasn't only fast but also big. Gave us no space. - NickA
The roster selection was terrible. How they went about it with the article just makes it look worse. If NHLers go in 2018 there should be quite a few new faces responsible for putting this team together. |

(frank) eh the fins played a boring game they stacked all five guys right in the crease and got lucky that price lets in soft goals - blizzzard
I don't mind the finns winning. It would probably mean more for their country. Can't help to think that winning the WJC and getting an olympic medal with an injury riddled team would be good for their program too. If Barkov and Maata reach their potential Finland could become a contender on the international stage. |

Already are contenders. Since 94 they have only not medaled one year and it was in Salt lake 02. Every other year they had bronze and got silver in Turino in06. Don't know why every hockey pundit forgets about them. Always there and also had a silver in Calgary in 88. Proud hockey country and they sure played like one today. |

They've always been a good team no doubt, but I always saw them a step behind Canada, Russia, Sweden and the US in talent. |

Same and everyone seems to but it's wrong. About time we started giving them there due. The finns are always around in the olympics and they have definitely started producing more young players recently. Had a bit of a lull there for awhile but seem to be on the upswing. |

Not liking everything I have been reading. It seems now that there has been a break we are going to no longer assume Cory is the number 1 goalie and we aren't going to sell because we are a play off team right now with out having to add anything. This has to be the most frustrating team to cheer for. Or at least this year anyways. I mean sometimes you got to accept being less then good so that you can become good yea having 4 straight first overall picks isn't what any gm wants and it's not what we need but we take to the absolute extreme where we refuse to move guys who have no future with us because it would send the wrong message. We have to watch old timers hockey and it's hardly ever fun. I am still blown away how Lou thinks that Salvador, Harrold and Volchenkov are the best players to play and neither of Larsson or Gelinas are ready for mistake free NJ Devils hockey. That same mistake free brand of hockey that Salvador, Harrold and Volchenkov know absolutely nothing about. I honestly think at the end of the season the only thing we will of had to look forward to is not giving up a top 5 pick and the they "pushed it " as high out of the top five as they could. |

Does anyone know how many scouts a team is allowed to have if there is even limit ?I seriously wonder if we have the fewest amount of scouts in the league as our scouts are never reported at any games. |

scouts cost money, lou wouldn't pay to watch the statue of liberty take a piss in the hudson river, and you wonder why the devils have no scouts. plus the only league the devils seem to scout is in sweden. sorry had to say it. |
