Have you ever had this abortion of a beer ?

- Reveen

That was the popular beer at the banger parties I used to go to in the late 90's.

And since everyone is in a humorous mood, I'll share my favorite Achewood comic strip:

Reasonable point.

I wonder tho. He's not offensively inept. Strong skater, mediocre hands. But great on the boards and willing to go to tough areas. Best case, he's what so many gm's were battling for this season. And possibly a perfect fit alongside kids.

In fact, I was thinking even someone less talented than him should be a target.

All this said; I hate his contract and am just being hypothetical

Kyle Clifford? He may (that's a big may) have untapped offensive capabilities. He did score in junior.

Dwight king is another.

Honestly though, If they don't get a bigger guy in that top six going into next season, via trade or free agency, they likely wait for Mitch Moroz. Ideally Moroz plays a year in the ahl first. I hope they don't force the kid in next year to fill the big body void. We need experience.

Side note: I hope we take a run at kulemin and goc.

I wasn't stoked on the gags for king straight up. but yes, he's absolutely a viable candidate in terms of my meaning

I just don't think much is going to change with this form of the top 6. too many big, strong, defensively sound teams that are just too difficult to play against over an 82 game schedule for this group.

even with the addition of the dmen we so desperately need, I want some size and truculence in that top 6.

at the very least; we need gagner dealt for abit of size and defensive acumen in that 2c role...what we lose in being able to light the lamp for 7, we gain in almost every other area. and most importantly wins in those low scoring physical affairs

agreed on kulemin and goc. especially nik. love to have him
