Cool...talking about a guy that doesn't belong on a team that's 3-0. Makes a lot of sense douchebag.
I guess that's the result of rooting for a team year after year that is the complete scum of the NHL. You guys have quite a lock on that last place in the NHL trophy every season. How many 1st overall picks is it going to take before you actually start winning games? Must suck to have to watch repeats of the 80s to enjoy watching your team win a game. Go back to your troll filled blog and cry some more about your garbage team - Killian
this post clearly indicates a pens fan who only started cheering for the team "post crosby" |

Kunitz is good. Belongs nowhere near team Canada... |

And to answer your question...Yes, that picture next to my name is of me kissing the Stanley Cup. Something you'll never get to do, because your garbage team will never win another one - Killian
i love this post.....almost insinuating that him kissing the cup (probably during a trip to the HHF) meant he had something to do with the win
and before you bother.....i'll draft your reply to my post
"ummmmm, yeah well your team hasn't won a cup since the 20's......and i kissed the cup, so i obviously know more than you" |

I've officially changed my fandom.
I'm now no longer a fan of the Edmonton Oilers, but actually a fan of the 1987 Canada Cup team. They've haven't played together in a while, but they're perhaps the greatest hockey team ever assembled.
I'm assuming that cheering for such a great team will mean that everyone takes everything I have to say the most seriously. |

Nope, I was around for the 91 and 92 cups as well thank you very much. When was the last time the Sens did anything? There were probably since digit number of teams in the league the last time you won a cup |

Kunitz has been a good player his entire career. Are Giroux, Hall ... more talented??? sure!!! This is not an all star game. How is it that anyone here makes the claim that good players don,t have a role on great teams or with great players? 2009 Penguins probably don't win the cup without Kennedy and Talbot, neither of which is a great player. I can find equally important "good players" on even the best cup teams ... Stop the nonsense, Kunitz has been in the top 10 in every major scoring category the last two seasons!!!! He deserved to be there, end of story. If they sit him now fine. But this conversation is utterly ridiculous. Canada is 3 0!!! Are you really saying a solid hockey player that's won 2 stanley cups playing with some of the best player's in the world forgot how to play hockey? or can't adjust??? What about Sharp and St Louis who have done nothing! This is total nonsense and show's the arrogance of some Canadian fans. - Brianandr1

So are a few other Canadian players that weren't even considered. I mean they left off guys who have had 100 point seasons to try and get a guy to mesh with Crosby, and so far it's backfired, like most predicted. - sbroads24
I don't have any rooting interest here - I hate the Pens and I root against Canada. I think a solid case can be made for others ahead of Kunitz, but his inclusion is entirely defensible (this isn't a Rob Zamuner situation). I'd wait until after the conclusion of the tourney to say this backfired, and even then I doubt that his inclusion (or the exclusion of Hall, Giroux or whomever you think should have been included) will be what cost Canada if they don't win Gold. |

I dunno. How many u guys get? 5 lottery picks in a row?
or Had u forgotten?
You're really coming off desperate. U keep shifting the Convo to the oilers.
We're talking about kunitz. And how everyone outside Pittsburgh didn't think he belonged in the team. And those thoughts are bein vindicated at present.
And because we beat Norway 3-1, we should be rejoicing and completely satisfied with nothing to tweak??
Wow. U guys Make it too easy.. Is this the type of intelligence that occurs in the pens thread usually!!? |

so let me get this straight.....you were a pre-crosby pens fan, and bash a team that had multipe lottery picks, even thought that's EXACTLY how your team got good.
and again, i told you not to bother with the sens response, I already did it for you.
and besides, i already switched my fav team to a team that's better than the pens, which automatically means i know more than you....d'uh |

Agreed. This all makes sense.
I'd also add that just as Canada not going on to win gold is not a good argument for his exclusion, Canada currently being 3-0 (or 2-1-0-0) is not a good argument for his inclusion. |

Yeah...but the difference between us and the oilers, is that we actually made good picks. Picks that resulted in the rebuilding of a franchise, and a 3rd Stanley Cup. Not picks that continued to result in dead last place in the NHL year after year. |

If they win gold, none of this matters. If they don't, it's a huge issue... They expected him to be on the 1st line riding shotgun with Sid and producing like it's the regular season. If they have to keep juggling lines because Kunitz and 87 need to be split up it causes a headache. |
