Russia just won but they look like a loose ragtag bunch that can create up front. They played very well against us and then........not so much.

I think its the easy solution for team canada to do that with Duchene and PK. They are the young guys and "need to pay their dues first"

Nash/Toews broken up? That pair as a shutdown line is the main reason Nash got the invite!

Sit Kunitz and keep Nash as the extra forward ffs....

They took Kunitz off his line because they didn't score enough together. Claude Julien's head must be spinning with all the line combination changes, he is definitely a coach that doesn't do that very often.

I didn't realize that Babcock was such a spaz with lines... He's all over the place. It's funny, in press conferences he's basically telling reporters to calm down about scoring issues, but he's the one looking panicked with all of the changes.

I agree with this. Bottom line: they're winning. Not much space has been found in the last couple games. The defensemen have been able to get some breakdowns and read them well. Argue about Kunitz being there all you want. None of the forwards have been all that impressive...especially the ones who are supposed to be in everyone's eyes.

Better that they just work through and win then keep flip flopping and lose.

Also...it won't be against Hiller. Latvia just throwing wrenched in things.
