This post sort of reminds me of this:
- Morris
I don't feel superior to anyone. Mostly because Im usually not. This more reminds me of the "Everyone in this room is now dumber for having heard what you just said" part of Billy Madison.
This entire thread has gone from discussing hockey into a pathetic trolling of "my team and my players are better than yours so THERE".

well, according to your "more stanley cups is all that matters" theory.........the only thing that matters is results. therefore it doesn't matter that lemieux played less games, all that matters is that jagr has the better stats. - sensarmy_11
He just passed him in total points, and it took him 500 more games to do it |

Read carefully and count the number of people who are using that line of argument. It should be apparent that the trolling is essentially one-way.
I don't doubt it's pretty dumb to read though. |

Im not getting into this drafting cat fight, but a flyers fan making fun of another team's goalie draft pick, especially a pretty decent one, is rich lol |

Yeah, I see who the main culprit it. And fortunately I like to think he doesn't represent our fan base. However, if he was a troll and not just a fool, he would be doing a great job. We are on 5+ pages now of people arguing with him and devolving to his level.

nice to see mentalorgasm or whatever his name is can spew his filth on a Penguins thread, yet my post gets deleted. |

It's all in fun, no harm with little happening during the lull until the QFinals. |

Fair enough. Point conceded. For the record I don't think he represents the average pens fan either, but you see a lot of these fans cropping up for teams that have enjoyed massive recent success.
Are you a football fan? then you've probably encountered that kind of Seahawks fan this year too. |

He definitely doesn't represent the average Pens fan on here - Bartley and Killian (who are likely one and the same) are generally the exception. |

I like this poll better:
How many of us have actually witnessed our team win a Stanley Cup in our lifetime? I know I have. - Killian
I've witnessed 5. Whats your point? |

over the last five drafts i believe all they have to show for it is bennett and maatta.
edit: sorry they also have Simon Despres, 3 players over the last five years cracking the lineup is horrible, and you can go back a year further, cause no one is on from that draft class either. - Mentalorgasm5
3 players over 5 years is not horrible when your team is loaded.
The Pens have the deepest stable of defense prospects in the league. Good defensemen take longer to develop, which you can afford to do when your team is a perennial contender.
You have no idea what you're talking about. Just stop.

It's 3 over 6, and with the turn of players putt has had, it's pretty horrible no matter how you want to cut it. |

How many draft picks from the last 6 years you have playing for the sabres?
A lot, I'd bet.
And how is that working out for you?
Good teams can afford to develop their prospects. Look at Detroit and San Jose for evidence. Less players make the team from each draft pool, but the ones who eventually do are actually good players. |

We'll it means you're a better and smarter person than everyone here. I feel with you witnessing 5 Stanley cup victories I shouldn't have to explain this. |

Filth equals facts? - Mentalorgasm5
Yea the reason Edmonton still sucks is because there was no Crosby, Malkin, Toews, Kane, Stamkos, Ovechkin, even Erik Johnson available. Couldn't possibly have been
Fun to note all those teams who made those picks have made the playoffs more recently than the Oilers |

These 2 are pretty bad. There are a few others. We all have trolls in our fan bases that are embarrassment to the regs. 87 & 71 R hockey is a massive douche. Oneta is pretty sad. There are more....

No teams with Crosby and malting on them can afford to draft bad. But to my original point to Killeen if I'm a Pitt fan I'm not ragging on Edmonton for drafting bad. |
