Scheifle?

I'd take Schwartz over Scheifle 10 times out of 10.

Kid's a stud.

my first is useless though the way the rules work. Bobby ryan > E.staal

My reasoning

Neal=Ryan
1st
- pker2theend

Let's put it this way, I would have turned down Alex had he offered me Ryan and Staal for Giroux+ or for Staal++. It's just kinda weird that you were asking so much but accepted less than what others would have paid. I think you lost some people with your original offers, they probably assumed you were gonna keep Neal unless you got a great offer.

No biggie since Ryan and Staal isn't a bad return but you just pulled a "Gillis" and I was Mac T wanting Schneider.

Your 1st is quite valuable—as I mentioned, we're dissolving CCGH and Bluechip and adding their players to the draft.

Your pick will fall somewhere between 7-10th overall.

There are more than 10 valuable players on both of those rosters.

Crosby, Lundqvist, Bernier, Hiller, Halak, Vanek, RNH, Backes, Bergeron, Perron, Palat, Moulson, Little, Horton, Stastny...

Considering the last trade offer he sent me (5 mins before that trade went through) I'm shocked he took so little. He wanted everything but the kitchen sink for Neal. Maybe he got his Staals mixed up...
- KB3Point0

Yeah same here, I thought offering up Giroux in a deal would have gotten it done since he wanted a top young scorer back.

Jensen just got knocked out of the Comets game against the Marlies.

Think it was a high hit, but I missed the play and only saw him being helped off the ice with a bloody nose

Sauve and Travis Green were then arguing with the ref that there should have been a penalty, and then the ref gives Sauve the weakest stick slashing penalty I've ever seen 10 seconds after the ensuing face off.

Garbage at every level...

Exactly. He just basically traded Neal for Ryan straight up. I guess my "rep" screwed my chances despite a better offer

I mean, I like Bobby Ryan a lot, I just don't think he's as good as Neal. And the 1st will likely be better than J Staal. Oh well!

Like, helped off the ice as in possible concussion?

Yup.

Needed help getting up.

But he walked to the dressing room mostly under his own strength—still had somebody helping him.

Just have the game on in the background so I missed how it happened.

Jensen's back.

I guess he did his time in the quiet room...

Possible broken nose.

was worried there—would have been his 2nd or 3rd concussion already...

EDIT: pbp guys joking about how many weak calls the refs are giving Utica. PPs are 8-2 for the Marlies.

Should make too much of a difference. Schwartz is a solid pick up, as Fosco mentioned. You just have to hope he doesn't get traded to Buffalo if St. Louis takes a run at landing Miller.

Doesn't look that great but when u consider he was what 30-35 games in before he scored makes you think he was seriously struggling with his confidence to start the season. Kid is such a wildcard. Could be Bobby Ryan 2.0 could be A complete bust

Ericsson and to a lesser degree Cannatta have been lights out the last 2 months. During that period Ericsson has probably been the best goalie in the entire league

Ericsson was better after Anaheim shell-shocked him.

Seemed like it's done him a world of good. Not the shelling per say but working with the Canucks goalie coach. Apparently they set Ericsson straight on a few things.

Begs the question though: way the hell doesn't our NHL goalie coach spend some of the season with our prospects?
