Ladd and Buff for the schenns? - MrPerfect316
I am sure both teams would consider this, I hope not though, love Brayden Schenn. |

Your not getting Ladd & Buff for the Schenn's. A Dman of Luke's ability can be had in the UFA market.
It's going to cost significantly more than Brayden to get Buff. |

And I suppose you watch all of his games he's way better then Tyutin and Johnson in his own end, and we're talking Wiznewsky as his partner, not some superstar vet such as Weber or Suter. - Alexzanki
Bullpoop. I've watched and he get easy minutes. If he was WAY better than Tyutin and Johnson in his own end then he would be getting the majority of the defensive end starts against the top competition. But the facts show otherwise.... |

Winnipeg has 2 Luke Schenn's now in Clitsome, although gone for the year & Stuart. Ellerby & Pardy have played well enough to allow Winnipeg to move Big Buff to forward to balance out their top 3 lines. Leaving Enstrom, Bogosian & Trouba to log the big minutes.
They also took Morissey 13th overall last season & he is a student as well company ng in a year or 2. |

No way. You shelter them. Tyutin & Johnson aren't going to lose minutes over a 20 year old rookie. Give your head a shake & put down the pipe. |

God I hate this iphone. Well not the iphone specifically but soft touch buttons or they hate me which might be a better way to describe it. |

There is no such thing as "easy minutes", then your telling me every opponent the cbj faced had their 3rd and fourth out for about 20 min |

Of course there is. Tyutin and Johnson are the shut down pair. Which is why they have the majority of their starts in the defensive zone against the top competition. Murray and Wiz get the majority of their starts in the offensive zone against lesser competition. They are called advance stats. You should check them out sometime. |

Does the Team that the Said "top pair" d-man play on have any relevance? |

No I didn't. Murray isn't going to play ahead of Johnson, Tyutin or The Wiz at least not as a rookie, his minutes will bump annually ascwill the difficulty of those minutes but the top 3 are locked up long term.
Good organizations with long historys of success don't rush players. They bring them along slowly. Look at Detroit, 1 of the most successful franchises in the NHL over the last 25 years. They maximize their junior eligibility, then season there players in the minors for years often not brining them to the NHL until the lose their waiver eligibility. See Tatar & Nyquist recently but they did the same thing with Smith, Helm, Ericsson, Kindle etc. Then they just plug them into the lower lines moving them up slowly to replace the vets retiring.
Even though they haven't had a top 10 pick since 91. Lapointe at 10. |

Probably not, just throwing poop out there. Would probably be a decent trade for both sides though should both players realize their full potential. |

And do these advance.stats say against who exactly he plays when he is in the said offensive zone?
Again he faces some teams top lines or second lines because I have seen him do so, I think he's doing well for a 20 yrs old defensman and hopefully he will get even better. |

Minnesota doesn't need Yak they have forwards coming out of their ying yang. Koivu, Granlund, Parise, Pominville, Neiderreiter, Coyle, Fontaine, Zucker & checkers, Brodziak, Cooke, Mitchell, Bulmer, Haula & others.
If rumors are to be believed Vanek will sign as a UFA.
Minnesota needs Dumba. Other than Olosson all their young D are playing in the NHL. Brodin, Spurgeon & Scandella. After that the cupboard and see bare at D for Minnesota. |
