Well, if the current moral hygienist in this thread is offering up Amazonian women as proof of scientific adaptation, sure, why not?

I guess he is right - Wonder Woman could play in the NHL.

I wonder if she would fly on the team charter, or just take her own invisible plane?

I'm assuming she would play for the Capitals - their uniforms kinda look like hers.

She would up the TV ratings so high, they would move the cap up over 100 mil. If she played in her outfit. She would lead the league in scoring too.

No they can't.

grafting male genitalia onto a woman doesn't change the chromosomes.

It was still a woman.

You didn't make a valid point.

You brought up a Greek myth.

So yes, I mocked it.

there are people saying its just impossible.. could never happen

- Dozzer

Again anything is possible....just not probable...or likely.

Has anyone asked if these women would even want to play in NHL? Would it not be better that as the sport grows, they build a competitive professional league that could actually be considered a career option?

i disagree.... if anything, your point that somewhere in the world (the hockey playing amazon) women are bigger than men has absolutely nothing to do with his point that realistically women will never play in the nhl based on size advantage of the men who play the game...

some reporter looking for his 15 minutes of fame published a story about women in the nhl.... a bunch of guys said no/never based on reality... now its lead to an argument that includes amazon women...

for everyone's sake, can we stop this... before no one has any credibility left.

I'm with you here.

Men and women are different. We're built and developed differently; even if we started off the same. (Yes, clit=penis and vagina=balls; believe it or not its true) They we're once the same. Now we are not. It's called hormones.

I COULD see a former woman, now man in the NHL after all the surgeries and hormone treatments. She'd need that testosterone to compete.

We are probably a long way off of that one. The various semi-pro leagues of the past few years have really struggled.

I'd love to learn more about the economics of the WNBA - I'm assuming it's a huge black hole for money.

I think the CWHL is down to five teams. Tickets to a Toronto Furies game are $10.

I think the only chance at this point would be for a rivalry series every year between the States and Canada - I went to the exhibition game over the Christmas break - the ACC was filled, and it was a great atmosphere.

And I'd also like to see Hockey Canada dump a boatload of money into the CIAU league.
