as you said, one of his best features that makes him (more?) attractive to other GMs is that, being that he is believed to be a top pairing dman on a bad tea, his cap hit is better than anyone else in the league...its the same reason and logic why some are concerned that jagr/moulson will hurt vaneks return; they too are cheaper options.

His first season with us was very promising and he played great for the sound tigers prior but his game degraded from there and he was continually given more responsibility and ice time for some unknown reason? Only Capuano could answer that but I would guess his answer would make little sense just like his post game interviews. I'll put it to you this way. I WISH AMAC was half the player Capuano and Snow thought he was. Our defense would be better for it.

I was looking for the overhead shot of all the Islanders piled up on the ground in front of their net with less than a minute left (I forget which game it was). I couldn't find it so I used this one instead. It's sad that there are multiple pictures just like this one. Anyone with any common sense looks at this and sees a massive defensive breakdown. Cappy sees tremendous battle level.
