This break could literally not come soon enough for this team. In each of these road trip loses they were, for all their bad play, still in the game after 40 mins. Outscored 8-2 in the 4th period of those 5 games. #Gassed

I think the minutes have caught up with them. They said Hamhuis was over 17 minutes by the end of the 2nd... nothing like easing him back into the lineup after sitting out due to injury.

I am getting a bit tired of seeing 2 on 1's with the guy in the middle passing to the winger who doesn't have the angle

Holy sh!t Kotsenberg's slopestyle run was insane. Shame for McMorris but he lost to what might have been one of the greatest runs I've seen in this comp.

What I found most amazing was that his popularity seemed to go up after the crack episode was exposed.

I'm starting to wonder if it's beyond individual performance and the team structure might be playing a part. I've felt for a lot of this season that Torts is trying to shoe-horn a style that might not be most suitable for the skills at his disposal. Maybe I've just watched the Canucks rolling a very open style of hockey for too many years though.
