So, when was the last time you saw your dork???

Though morbidly obese, I can see my dork. In fact, as I was just saying with Sam over in the Habs thread, these Olympics are taking it's toll on me.

I call bullpoop. I think if she threw it at you and said she was going to talk the entire time you would still jump at the chance.

You too, Lums.

The only weight I'm losing is an average of 10cc to start, but drops drastically as the day goes on depending on the events and who is in them.

My list of players that could be available that I would love to make a run for and hear the true price tags on are:

Moulson
Byfgulien
Ott
Andrew McDonald (maybe)
Bieksa
Calamari

- systemtool

I'd take Bieksa on this team. I don't like him, but he'd be an appropriate addition.

Lots of time it's because of desensitization from watching countless hours of sluts doing amazing things with cobs of corn and horses.

I do believe it was said she would be porked, despite being annoying as (frank). I dont think Al Gore, the internet, or global warming can put a halt to some brutal honesty and the over glorification of celebrities. Then again, we're all here talking and debating the merits and value of players that would never acknowledge our existence in the real world.

Anyone else laugh when they mentioned that Lupul scores more than any other NHL player on Saturday nights??

Mr. Saturday Night Special. I think they were referring to the bar scene after the game.

Depth, for when Lupul and Clarkson get hurt again. Nothing great, but if had for cheap would fill a 2nd line scoring need.

Just threw him out there as a cheaper alternative to Moulson and Vanek, plus that he actually wants to play for the team and in the city, which could help motivate him more...

He could have been had here but Burke had to go and sell the farm for Kessel. Both are the same type of player. (at least that's what I think was said at the time)

Nonis wouldn't pay the price required to fetch him. Yesterday certain posters advocated that the up most price would certainly be Gunner. This defies logic as Bieksa is, and will continue to be better then him even as he persists into his mid thirties.

Why trade a player that is, was, and will always be better (regardless of age) then the return?

Bieksa makes 4.5 for the next few years, moving him for a lesser return would only hurt positional need and defensive depth.

Guy is a beast, most importantly when it comes to playoffs.

The thing many Leaf fans seem to disregard is while Vancouver is obviously in need of some changes, a full rebuild is not entirely needed. We are not the Oilers, Flames or Leafs at the time of rebuild. Burke and Nonis always built their teams form the net out, Vancouver has the goalie position filled, with Lou signed for the next decade plus an insurance policy in Lack. Furthermore, when healthy we have one of the best defensive core's in terms of value, talent, age and contractual length. Sure Hamhuis and Bieksa are in their early 30's, but good defenseman can play well into their late thirties, thus all we need is youth up front, some of which we already have that could make an impact as early as next season.

A blow-up is not needed, especially one in which we literally give away talent for a lesser return.

Hypothetically, moving Edler for a top six, having Horvat make a notable impact and a few decent depth signings next season could be all the doctor ordered.
