I don't even think the leafs will give up 1 of those 3 for Bieksa

It will have to be Franson and a 3rd, or the leafs just add a 17-18 mins like the O'byrne trade last year

- GardinerExpress

I know they wouldn't

Let me re-phrase ...

Would the Canucks trade Hamhuis, or any of their defensemen for Rielly straight up.

Yes. Every day.

- Aetherial

absolutely ...although they will probably only admit to Edler

Canucks lost to cup winners three years in a row.

Last year they sucked and this year they suck. Lots of injuries bad players getting old and on the decline. I hope they miss the playoffs, cause they ain't winning a round.

- Scooby_Doo

Good.

They're going to be irrelevant like the Sens.

Pack it up and fold the team.

It is easier to go deep when you don't have to worry about a tiring seven game series

So who else thinks the Sedins choose tonight to break out of their slump Burrows scores, and the Canucks win by at least 3 tonight.

Hes no Frank Corrado every Canucks fan seemed to get a boner over last season.

Corrado is like Gretzky, Orr, and Michael Jordan combined. But better.

and leafs were 10 mins away from knocking off the Eastern champs last year.
by the way San Jose was not the champ last year, and they handled the nucks pretty easily.

This pissing match between a fan base who has never won anything with another that hasn't won anything since 1967 is hilarious.

Coming from a fan of a team that hasn't won anything in 20 years

It would be like if Gretzky and Wickenheiser had a child, and he was later a 5th rd pick of the Vancouver Canucks!

Henrik is out, Burrows makes the Clarkson deal look like a steal.
It will be a tight game, I'd be surprised if the nucks even score 3, let alone win by that much

Then react to that and keep comments about Leafs teams of the past out of it. Nothing else. Right? Right. Other wise, what Im talking about is the crap you brought up.
- systemtool

I was only drawing parallels to the Oilers' current playoff drought and the Leaf's playoff drought from before last season (although obviously not quite on the same level of bad). Isn't it fair to say that Leafs fans wouldn't appreciate other fans suggesting they WANT their team to lose after such a long run of failure?

It shouldn't be a tight game. Canucks are missing half their regulars and are terrible.
6-1 Leafs.

No. We would agree. We wanted it more than we wanted to do what the Canucks are doing. Battling for 9th with an old, aging and declining roster.
