In the Vancouver board they are saying sestito is better than Clarkson.
NOw I know Clarkson has had a bad year....but come on!

- Fakepartofme

Maybe they are right.

But perhaps they should be more concerned about Sestito being better than Burrows... who hasn't scored all year.

Hell of a scrapper though - that Burrows guy... going after notable heavyweight Phil Kessel.... while wearing a "glass mask" to protect his pretty face...

or is the cover just to keep out the rain?

And Kassian is better than Kadri yes, and Horvat should have gone top-5, and Jensen will be a 30-40 goal scorer. We've all been there before.
- AdamFrench

ya... I couldn't quite understand whey Hughson and Simpson kept on and on about Vancouver's injuries...

I mean with prospect and depth in the minors - and with world class Corrado.. why has there been a drop off at all?

and why isn't Corrado going to the Olympics?

Vancouver's window isn't closing slowly, its slamming shut. The longer it takes these morons to finally accept that, the more entertaining it will be.
- HellsBells

That should be past tense. The window is long gone. Their team is a mess. Total mess. Worse than the post lock out Leafs. Crap declining veteran team with a lot of overpriced junk locked up long term with NTCs and little to no prospects. They need to gut and rebuild but that can't even happen for years.

Not to mention hair pulling and cross checking to the face.

4.5mil for another 3 years after this...... good luck with that.

That corrado stuff was hilarious. I told then he'd be the Leafs fourth best prospect on d. Behind Percy, Finn, rielly, tied with blacker. Its funny how accurate that is turning out to be. He's actually fallen behind blacker.

but to respond to Augello's original question - do the Leafs have interest in Canuck veterans....

if someone asked you - without joking about the game last night - who you MIGHT want off the Canucks roster....
would there really be anyone? (outside of Corrado of course - because everyone wants him)

1) seriously.. I wouldn't want Luongo over either Bernier or Reimer (never did)
2) Bieksa would be one of those guys who's heart wouldn't be in playing for some other team
3) Hamhuis? hammouse... no thanks - even though he would obviously be the Leafs best defenseman of course
4) Raymond... we got him cheap in September
5) Booth... why would anyone want him?
6) Kesler - overpriced and injury prone

no thanks.

Karma is a female dog Burrows, you wanna pull Kessel's hair, so perfect that u fukked up on a perfect 2 on 1 in a a very critical time in the game that could have the difference in the Nucks winning last night.

WAY TO GO BURROWS, YOUR SOOOOO AWESOME, RIGHT ON MAN...

Barely got to watch the game... had it on my mute, dinner party, Canucks couple over... I lost my poop when Kessel made it 2-1, left the table, turned up the volume and proceeded to taunt the Canuckleheads for the rest of the night.

No surprise I didn't get any action last night...

iRemember the Leafs under JFJ, they were hancuffed by overpaid players who were unproductive? That's EXACTLY what the Nucks are now. Gonna be a disaster if the Nucks bow out of the playoffs with those Sedin contracts.

Definitely worth it.
