I'm no Snow supporter and have criticized him on numerous occasions. But some blame has to go to Wang as well.... that was my point - Ur Not Me
I get it but Snow is the GM. Hes not the only one under financial constraints in this league. Add to that the fact that the money he does spend is on worthless pieces of garbage rather than a player that could actually help the team. For every excuse there is something to counter with bcs when it comes down to it Snow is incompetent in every sense of the word. From his coach selection and continual endorsement to the players themselves. Its bs that most people should be aware of by now. Its plain as day. I know you're feelings on Snow it wasnt completely directed at you in the way that you took it. Its hard to get a point across via keyboard sometines. |

I agree, I've been on here ranting that the majority of this roster lacks talent and that Snow has over-evaluated his players which is the reason for constant failure.
Also agree on who and what he has spent $$$ on instead of players that could actually help this team. |

I understand the excuse, but I don't buy it. I believe a good solid coach would be able to get more out of this squad. A real coach reacts to injuries and makes adjustments. No offense, but I think the injury excuse is a load of facking bull crap. - David_Volek
It may be, but that's the line they're going to try to sell you. And plenty of the sheep will believe it. |

Here's the problem with it- if they were disciplined, if they blocked shots, if they killed penalties, if they didn't consistently get caught with at least three or more players in between the face off dots and the glass behind the offensive net when the play started moving back the other way, but they still lost games 3-1 with an empty netter because their rookie defensemen were bound to make one mistake, or the rookie goalie was bound to give up one sh*t goal, then I 'd buy the injury argument. However, they lose because they don't PLAY defense, at all. That has nothing to do with anyone being hurt. |

If this team is being run properly, this summer must be snow's last stand. He and the coaches got a summer and season of good will for the playoff appearance. That's over now. Snow needs to improve this team this summer and get back to the playoffs next year. If the team fails again next year, Snow must go. Only a half-A**ed organization with an owner who gives no f**ks about winning would run it differently.
this summer should be Snow's Waterloo. He gets one more shot at this. Snow, pick your players and coaches wisely, as if your job depends on it, because it should. As it would in any other respectably run organization. |

If it were a respectable run organization Snow and Capuano would've been fired already. In fact they wouldnt have been hired in the first place. |

I'd be fine if they canned Snow at the end of this season frankly. I'd say at the very least, he should get no more than next season. He's been given plenty of time to succeed now, UFA's or not.
I give credit to Snow for building a decent foundation with Tavares, Grabs, Cizikas, Nelson, Strome, Reinhart, Pulock, Pedan etc...the foundation looks good.
Where Snow fails is in the category of necessary additions to said foundation. This season was to be a major crossroads for this franchise and he chose to gamble on players like PMB and Regin. That's an epic failure. Failing to at least address what seems to be an obvious coaching flaw, is failure part deux. That in my eyes is enough to justify at least putting him on a one-time final notice. |

I heard on the NHL radio network that Visnovsky wants to be traded now since the Islanders held him back from the Olympics.
Ok so now that is three guys who can be dealt at the trade deadline. Vanek Amac and Vis. If Garth does not get a decent haul for these guys he should be fired on the spot. For this team to be successful they will need to fire Garth and the whole coaching staff. This team will never EVER be any good with the clowns running this team, and if you don't think JT at the end of his contract is going to run you are nuts. This needs to happen NOW |

Really? Someone posted the other day that he wasn't feeling well enough to play and it was a decision he and the coach of the Olympic team made? I guess if he's feeling well enough to play in the NHL he'd be well enough to play in the Olympics. If this is true it's facking ridiculous.
Why woukld they have Hamonic play one meaningless game on Friday coming back from a concusion and prevent Vis from going to play for his country? Also they let JT, Vanek, and Grabs go? Weird double standard if it's true? |

One last bit of #Isles news: Frans Nielsen suffered a broken hand on slash from Avs D Erik Johnson on Saturday. Non-displaced fracture.
Arthur Staple @StapeNewsday 17m
So Nielsen may be able to play 2/27. More likely he'll miss the first week of #Isles games after Olympic break.

Don't know about that. I have to say that if the doctors cleared him to play in the NHL where there is full contact, then why would they not clear him to play in Olympics where there is no contact??
Makes no sense. And if VIs was weeks away then why risk playing for these couple of games?? |

Not for nothing but I did not want any of my players going to the Olympics but what do I know. All I do know this team is just so frustrating and I love how some fans think that things are looking up. I don't know I see the same team each year with the same stupid GM and the same clueless coach |

Don't know about what? He said it himself in a interview. Contact has nothing to do with it. He is talking about his conditioning not his concussion. Plenty of players come back off the IR and are not in top peek condition until a week or two later especially if they were out almost 3 months like Viz was. |

I saw the actual interview. He said he was weeks away from being in the shape he usually is. Which when you think about it makes perfect sense since he was out almost 3 months |

I guess we shall see they were saying something totally different. At this point I guess who cares. |
