How does Capuano still have a job. He actually believes the Isles were the better team. Even has his players thinking that. They disappeared for the entire 2nd period and if not for the 5-3's its a 3-0 loss |

I don't want to see them get rid of anyone other than the obvious ones until they get a new coach. Blowing up the team won't do a damn thing if you still have this guy calling the shots and coming up with the systems. - UIF
I'm not sure I even trust Garth making the obvious moves. The first move need to come from Charles by hiring a new GM. That is priority #1. No chance of that happening now though or in the offseason. |

Wang is too cheap to fire a GM and/or Coach with time left on their contracts |

Bet capuano's post game goes a little something like this. "We played hahd, and fought back. Our battle level was good. Puck just didn't bounce our way in the end tonight. I like how we played".

JT needs to go to Wang and demand a new GM and coach in here. JT needs to be the first one not being soo nice. He needs to take a page out of other great players books who wanted the coach and or GM out and took action. |

Yeah...remember what you've seen tonight the next time someone who doesn't watch the team says something like, "It's not Capuano's fault, he's doing a great job with what he has."
Not to say the Isles would be elite or anything like that, but they're a better team with a decent coach. |

I'm not sure Wang would want to explain that one. That would be the Islanders loss if he would be traded. JT would make out fine. |

I thought someone chucked a stick at Stastny at the end of the game. They credited him an EN goal now, it was Vanek javelining it at him, dont know what the point of that was |

Vanek is working on his defensive game. Wants to impress any possible new teams. |

AM I the only one who would like to see a return of the Moulson PA JT line along with a return of the KO Nielson Grabs line? |

Ha, you apparently haven't seen many of his post-games. This was Standard Response B in his two-response repertoire. - UIF
Yes, and translated into English, they both have the same meaning- I have no f***ing idea why having both of my defensemen join the rush every time we have the puck results in five pucks ending up in our net every night. I probably should have been fired months ago. |

The sad thing is there are dumbsh*t Islanders fans who say that. Plenty of them. As I've said plenty of times, I'm no coach, but I know enough to know that what they do is different from what pretty much every other team does, and the big scoreboard hanging from the roof tells me it doesn't work. The defense isn't good, and the goaltending, even with Nabokov, is mediocre- so shouldn't they be doing something that compensates for that, instead of making it worse? |
