That actually was a good trade.......for once!

But that was because Comrie was part of that trade...

Right right right......forgot about good ole mike comrie (who btw is getting divorced from Hillary Duff). All swedish, NO finish.........kinda reminds me of our boy #40. I mean really, can anyone remember a guy who has more looks and cant bury??? He's like Jason Blake all over again........a breakaway just about every game and aims at the goalies chest. Its mind boggling...........but then again, two teams gave up on Grabner before we claimed him.

Im not saying thats why he's not resigning, but he's playing with one of the best players in the league, on one of the best lines in the league and doesnt wanna stay. From what I read they offered him good money. So the only other thing that comes to mind, is the isles not being a respected franchise.

I personally hope that Snow wouldn't accept any picks. Only nhl ready prospects!
- 2raven2

The one thing the isles dont need are picks........its pretty clear that the isles need a starting goaltender, and 2 NHL dmen.

Not really...Comrie/McAmmond was an exchange of expiring-contract rentals, with Ottawa and the Isles were both well out of the playoff picture...although the Sens were still giving the token "we're still in the hunt" comments, kind of like the Isles now. They were like 10 or 12 back though I think. Campoli was the guy Murray was talking up after the trade.

Sucks this season was wasted, would of been interesting if the Vanek trade worked out and led to long term signing. I pretty positive that we still have JT, KO, Nelson, Nielsen, Strome, CC1, CC2, Martin, Lee in the front. Hamonic, Hickey and Dehaan look good in the back. I think we will make a play for Halak or Hillen in the offseason.

Yeah, but Comrie was traded for his offense while Macammond was more like a 3rd liner.

One thing has nothing to do with the other.........both PA and Bailey can go take a hike. I was a fan of Bailey but i cant figure out what his problem is. Perhaps drafting a center with your first round pick, and sticking him on wing might have something to do with it.
- kindlyrick

No, Bailey's issue is his own personal "heart", the kid just doesn't want to score

Well, for one, Comrie had very few goals that season...and for another, as I said, it was an exchange of expiring contracts among two non-playoff teams...not a reason to give up a first rounder. Campoli was what Ottawa wanted. The Sens were actually sellers that year, so it's not like they were after Comrie for a playoff push.

I see. was just baffled someone would give up a first rounder for campoli... I see that pick was used to move up to get Dehaan

Not official, but I'm told initial prognosis on Pacioretty is that while he won't return tonight, he's expected to be good to go for Sochi.

Get rid of Hickey........he gets beat every single game. I would like the isles to go get Halak.....

This team is so poor....no ''battlelevel'' at all. and here we are all still saying the same needs we needed in the summer that were never filled. any one of us could have done a better job then management.

While I agree, his heart is a major problem, i am baffled as to why they drafted a playmaking center, and expect him to be a scoring winger.

I know you can't make any trades right now but can you fire the coach? I think after tonight this is a perfect time...team is completely lost out there!

This is the problem. It's why I'm not watching and I'm not going to, until it happens. This team is a f***ing disgrace, and most of that is on his sh*t excuse for a game plan. It's time to hire someone who knows what the f**k he is doing.

Saying this team quit is too kind. I watched a couple of minutes and could not take it.

Lets face it, these "kids" are getting two weeks off..........which is clearly where their heads are.

Right, and a real coach would have them crapping their pants in fear of having that attitude. This one doesn't give a f**k, because it seems like he doesn't have to. He must have Sanjay Kumar's evidence in a bank vault or something.

Vanek and AMac both dinged in this game, but both are still on the bench. Why exactly are they even playing tonight? Strictly for appearances for the one superfan out there who might believe the team's going to make up the 12-point deficit?

I love how the team high fives each other as they come out of the dressing room. They are really fired up now.
