Yeah, I still dont understand why Snow was willing to give Bailey 3.3 mil. per season but not 4 mil. to PA. PA proved more in two seasons with Isles than Bailey did.

The answer is no, he has never not been burned. I've said this 100 times, and i'll continue to repeat........this is what happens when you hire your back up goaltender and put a GM hat on him.

If Snow can get a first and a good young prospect i'd be ecstatic. Id have no problem giving up a second round pick for the year of Vanek and the chance to sign him. Unfortunately Vanek doesnt wanna stay here..........as he said when his OT goal was wrongly overturned "if this were pittsburgh, thats a goal".

One thing has nothing to do with the other.........both PA and Bailey can go take a hike. I was a fan of Bailey but i cant figure out what his problem is. Perhaps drafting a center with your first round pick, and sticking him on wing might have something to do with it.

I think getting Lubo for a 2nd pick was a decent move. Getting 2nd for Sutton was also pretty nice, and Wisniewski came for a 3rd. But other than that didnt make any significant moves until Vanek.
