That's definitely tempting, but with the way the scoring is weighted in favour of scoring compared to goalie stats, I think Holding on to Tavares makes more sense.

Neal isn't that great and his numbers are a product of the 2 centers on his team. See Kunitz

What are you specifically looking for? Younger? Callahan and Giordano's stat averages are pretty damn good. I can understand being iffy with Cally since he gets inured though.

I guess I just value Schwartz more.

Never been a huge fan of either player.

And I don't think I'm getting much of an upgrade on D for the downgrade from Callahan to Schwartz.

I'm looking to improve my offensive categories or in goal. But I'm also trying to clear a roster spot for another couple of moves I have in the hopper.

Yeah, they're very good.

Tavares is a top 5ish player in the league, though, and getting better.

I'd rather explore other options before trading JT.

I'd likely be more willing to move him in the offseason.

I think you're underestimating Callahan's value in peripheral stats when healthy and Giordano's been outstanding now that he's not getting really hard minutes like he was in previous years. Let me know if you change your mind.

I'd consider a Staal deal, but again I think you probaly value Schwartz and him closer to each other than I do.

Callahan the NHL player not worth 6 mil and overrated , Callahan Nuckers fantasy pool player worth 2 firsts a top 6 forward and an high end prospect. Got it

You will be a good salesman my friend

I'm fairly comfortable with my peripheral stats.

Just thought I'd post the players I have available (JV, JS, MJ, any D).

It's been a bit slow in the pool lately...

Yes, that's exactly what I was saying.....I don't see how Callahan and Giordano to a contender like Fosco for Schwartz was a horrible offer, but okay. In fact, if this were a non keeper pool then I'm not even sure if I'd do it straight up.

His hits and blocks per game are great and he puts up points and some pims. In real life he's definitely not worth 6 million though. You're doing it wrong if you're comparing a fantasy pool with real life.

Aloha!

As I dream about anything but the Vancouver Canucks, the new blog is up. I tried to find a few things to feel positive about:
