Don't believe the hype. The last major incident to happen at the Olympics was.. you guessed it.. America.

Most of what you hear is just the US or western world hype. These games have as low of a probability of being attacked as any other.

Maybe so, but there is a much easier access to these athletes over in Sochi than here. It's a bad idea overall. The world hates each other right now.. no one is into the games anymore.

While I agree that an event most likely won't happen, there is still a "religious" conflict very close to Sochi in Chechnya. If there wasn't this conflict, it would be much like every other Olympics, but there is a reason that Russia has upped security to over 70,000 people, including soldiers.

I posted this a few days ago because this seems to be a "rumor" every 2 days. STOP with the Isles looking at Miller. The Islanders are not making the playoffs. They are on another big losing streak and just lost to the Flames. They are horrible. Miller will not waive his NTC to go to the Isles. Why would he want to go to a team that is not making the playoffs?

Oh and they moved PMB and Regin b/c they are worthless and the Isles need the roster spot to bring up Strome after the break.

im not gonna disagee with you about the playoffs but as far as horrible...well last night was ugly but would they be in the mix for the playoffs if it wasn't for all those blown leads? I would say the goaltending was a major factor to those blown leads. So getting someone who could make you a key save in the game...which I haven't seen in awhile for the isles...is top priority for me and I,m sure for them. Though even if Miller was ok with going to L.I , would you give up all their probably asking for to get him? Not sure...and with all the sh-t this team has been through thank god I don't have to make that decision!
