Shut up you're giving us more money to expand an airport so QP can walk to his flight that goes to Florida. - mr.peanut
The check is in the mail. Hopefully QP can scout some high school kids in florida while he is at it and not get paid for doing so. |

I think it is time that the Good people of Quebec stop paying taxes, with that 55 billion that they would save in taxes they could build their own bridge.
Governement is overrated anyways, it's time the people dealt with the problems themselves. If everyone works together and focuses on their own yard and the section of road directly infront of their house including the underground utilities on their property then everything should be a ok and you all will be billionaires. |

And where do they get that money? - mr.peanut
You know the answer. Governments take part of the money they get from taxes and invest it in different projects. They also keep part of it aside in case of emergencies. At the end of the year, they usually spend all the money they get from the tax-payers. But they don't need to increase taxes to invest in different projects. They could for example lower the budgets allowed in another department, or could even borrow money to very good rates(Québec having a AAA credit rate).
As I said earlier, the money needed for each department/ministry is not necessarily the same every year. Some increase every year(notably the Health ministry) but some don't require as much every given year. You can find the budget to finance some projects in those and not have to increase the financial weight on the tax-payers. |

Quickly watching the highlights. See that girl duck on the "2nd" Japanese goal?
Those girls got shafted on that goal that wasn't called. Kinda feel for them. |

You're a cute little guy (or so Pete tells me). And you're obviously very bright. But what you are NOT, is experienced in life. There is no replacement for living life and learning from everything it teaches you, both good and bad. That's as much as I can explain it. Hopefully, some day you'll get it. |

Well played
But there is a lot money lost in the bureaucracy of many ministry, notably in the Hospitals. The amount of bosses/administrators has been increasing exponentially while the number of doctors/nurses is stagnating/going down. Too many chiefs not enough indians natives. |

And you're a narcissistic person that would rather put its head in the sand than think about solutions. It's pretty easy to complain about everything and not propose anything to resolve problems. ANYBODY can do that.
Please tell me in which way you are superior as far as public finance knowledge goes? Shall I remind you that I study in Finance? |
