They are also rumored to be in on Miller
- mighty13duck

Sorry, but Ducks are not going to be in on Miller. They produce goalies like they are going out of style. Even if Hiller walks into UFA, they still have Fasth sign, Andersen signed for 2 years and a RFA after his deal ends, Gibson in the AHL and Bobkov in the ECHL.

There's a fine line IMO. When you proclaim that you 'want to stay' but then turn down a contract like that, you're obviously either
A: Not being sincere in your desire to stay
B: Have no idea what you're actually worth
C: A player who has been overvalued and turns the puck over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over

Was listening to XM Radio on my way home and they were talking about AMac rejecting the contract and they also mentioned that Matt Martin had turned down a contract offer as well. Anybody heard anything about that????

That doesn't make sense. Martin is signed for another 2 years. Why would he be talking contract already?

To be honest, Martin hasn't been all that great this year. I'm not saying I want him out, but he had shown glimpses of a guy who could work well on the pk, hit like crazy and occasionally chip in a goal here and there. He still hits

Good Times... I don't think we will see a trade until after the Olympics.

Teams don't want to pay for a player while over there.

Plus there is always the injury possibility.

Here's one that I'm sure will produce an endless amount of jokes. Colorado likely has PAP on the move. Let me start by saying it was purely speculation and opinion, but one of the guys on Sportsnet had a feeling that Parenteau ends up back on the Island in some sort of deal for Vanek. http://www.sportsnet.ca/h...nucks-panthers-islanders/

I'd really rather see him go to the Ducks if we could pickup Fasth or Anderson somehow.

Love to find a way to get Roy from Colorado. Sorry no PAP. I like dealing with the Ducks. Should be able to get one of the 10 goalies they have.

the Post article said Snow already turned down one "substantial" offer for AMac. I really hope he doesn't overplay his hand on this one. It's AMac, after all...

Watch Amac get injured and be WORTHLESS to anyone. Doesn't get traded and walks for more money elsewhere. Only worst case scenario is that Garth re-signs him and he's an Islander for life.

Dan wrote Garth is seeking a 1st, an NHL FORWARD(?) and a prospect for Vanek.

HEY GARTH! HOW BOUT A FUC KIN DEFENSEMAN OR GOALIE YA DUMB ARSECLOWN PIECE OF SH!T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
