From what I heard if Ottawa has to they will let Spezza walk if it comes down to one or the other. Also seems like Spezza is back to his old self and I am not sure if their owner is still having money problems now that they just signed a 10 year deal with tsn but if he is I would try to get Spezza below market value

We need talent more than anything, so I'd still take Spezza depending on the deal and just move Patty to wing for the rest of his career.

Yea he is but its not like Zajac is really a play maker so we would have some one creating offense on another line and he has a pretty decent shot could likely help Ryder and Brunner score some more goals. I honestly think Brunner is such a waste everything has to be perfect for that guy to do anything and I don't think there is a player on our team who does less then him when they aren't producing.

We would need someone to replace him for sure, but thats why I mentioned PAP. I don't think Ryder gets traded until the offseason, but I just can't stand the guy. He does nothing if he can't score. He is basically Sykora. I definitely think Clowe and Henrique could be doing better if they had someone who could play down low and cycle better than Ryder.

All as good so long as we keep our captain we could trade Greene Zajac and Henrique for future considerations and everything would be ok because our captain OUR SAVIOR Sal will still be here.

Hopefully Lou uses today to get rid of our real problem players like Tedenby and Josefson
