You'd love our R&D lab technician. He probably uses the word "socialism" about 30 times a day any time anything bad in the world is mentioned.

No, country music is just slowly blending with rock. The "classic" country sound is dying and the 2 are starting to sound like each other.

I agree. There is actually some country music now that is good and tolerable. Unlike the honky tonk twang of yesteryear.

Because much like "terror" or "smoking", they are unwinnable wars.

That's what it's like with everything though.

If you truly like music, you like at least A LITTLE BIT of everything. You'll find something to appreciate.

I will turn to my buddy and want to slap him for the poopstep he puts on at parties. However, once in a while something comes up that's actually kinda cool. Just an example.

Another example- I'm sure you guys all know that I love the dadrock classic rock bands, but I also have about 40 Eminem songs on my ipod.

I'd like to think that I can appreciate a good amount of music. I like some 90s dance, 80s/90 rap, most types of rock/metal/grunge/punk, some classical, some solo artists.

But I truly hate dub step. I'm sorry, but it's just rhythmic noise lacking any structure.

The Chronic is probably one of the better albums of the 90s. If you can't appreciate that, it's because you're extremely closed-minded on the subject.

They all play real instruments, Rob has a real smokey voice, and the music they play is a cross between Led Zeppelin and Johnny Cash

Because it's your unlucky day.

If you went to a Phillies game this past year, that loud unorganized-sounding song they blared while they took the field is dub step. It's just loud, bass-heavy synthesized noise that probably sounds cool while you're doing acid/heroin/ecstasy.
