I'd rather travel 40 minutes to Ocean City, NJ. It's a dry town, so you don't get those types, it's very family friendly (and no stupid drink high school kids). Smokin' hot girls though. It's actually a surprisingly clean beach, with the exception of the rare case of a gathering of jellyfish washing up.

Not a huge fan, but Holy Grail is probably my all-time favorite (and most quoted) comedy. I like a lot of Cleese stuff, but wasn't a big fan of the flying circus.

Also, my writing ability focuses on short stories featuring kick-ass nordic barbarians who go about beheading people and doing other deeds of kick-assery.

I write a lot of political satire... I draw a lot of inspiration from this thread...

This again?.... Delaware beaches are great, and each has thier own crowd.

Rehoboth... Familys and Gays
Dewey... Highschool and College kids
Bethany.. Familys only, higher end.
Fenwick.. Lower end version of Bethany
OC MD.. for your 25+ best beach IMO. Can find anything here, and easy to get around. 1 main road, has something for everyone, but isnt crazy with drunks.

- youarewrong

No, just saying it keeps the "Jersey Shore" crowd away.

I've never been to the DE/MD beach, but my wife's grandparents have a place in Somer's point which is right next to OC, NJ. It's nice to go down for the day, go back get showered, crash for the night, and go home at our leisure the next day for no $$.

Perfect example: jazz. Respect the difficulty, hate the sound.

My example: opera. But jazz is right up there.

As a kid I spent every summer in Cape May Point NJ.. My dads family owns a house a half block from the beach and a bike ride from the light house. Geographically we are exactly mid point if you were to walk the beach from the light house to the sunken ship. It is my favorite place in the world.

I know it's not fair, but I just never think of Canada when I think of crime. I just think of some arctic wasteland where everyone lives in mutual harmony and the only thing to worry about is frostbite and bear attacks.

Hey guys, Honest question I have been afraid to ask for a while now... Is country music replacing Rock? I mean you just dont have Iconic Rock bands anymore, and country seems to be getting bigger and bigger. I know Rap is in control but hopefully they end up killing themselves off...

I like the 3 tennors and andrea Bocelli. I like Opera and Classical more then I like Jazz, Blues, Rap, R&B, and Country.

No, country music is just slowly blending with rock. The "classic" country sound is dying and the 2 are starting to sound like each other.

Maybe. I think it's more that there's enough exposure for all the genres and more now. Nobody stays iconic for long. ymmv

There are some opera singers (very few) that I can tolerate. But those high-pitched notes that women hit make me angry...they literally anger me. Some (old) rap is good. Jazz I don't care for, but I don't like the jazz fans who say you "just don't get it," if you don't like it.
