You want grim stuff, nothing like Funeral Doom. Start with Esoteric 'Disconsolate' and go from there. That and Colosseum works for any breakup or downer...sometimes the depths always make things better.

Typically it is stuff like Ulcerate, Dissection, Edge of Sanity and Gorguts in one ear and a 30m conference call in the other. Got to look up MC...that's a new one.
Evoken is also great for bringing one out of the abyss of hockey disappointment. Worked for most of Calgarys games this yr

A couple weeks ago on HNIC, I believe it was Friedman that said the Canadian brass already had selected a "taxi squad" if any was injured prior to the Olympics. Of the 4 forwards he mentioned, Giroux was not one.

The 4 forwards were;

St.Louis
E.Staal
Neal
Hall

Goalie was Crawford

The 3 defensemen were:

Seabrook
M.Staal

Can't remember the 3rd one, but I think it was Giordano.

Whether they select outside of what Friedman reported.....I guess we will see.

You can make a case for either St. Louis or Giroux.
If you go with them needing another pure sniper then you could make a case for Neal also.

Why? Because everyone feels bad for him?

There are better options. If they take MSL it's 100% because of media and politics, which is bullpoop.

MSL should have made the roster over some other players maybe, but he's not the best replacement for Stamkos.

It should be St Louis because he is the reigning Hart trophy winner.

The media was shocked that he was not on this team. That's why he got the attention he got.

His stats this year show that he should be on the team.
25 goals 29 assists and +16 even without Stammer on the line for the majority of the season.

He's a stud, and a leader. It would be a mistake not to have him on the team now.

Briere has 9 8 17 in 12+mpg over 44 games
Benched and also bunch of games of less than 10 mpg

He hasnt been treated the best with a combo of finding the right fit of linemates

I wouldnt say significant but Im sure there a call or 2 has been placed
