Very nice future. Needs to add bulk. Also needs to work on his footwork which is not surprising for someone 6'8". But for someone fresh out of college to play as well as he did bodes very well for the future. We sent him back to Cuse b/c he was seeing limited minutes here as 6/7 d-man and in Cuse he will get top 4 minutes plus he gets to play over olympic break whereas if he was still in Tampa he wouldn't

It would be a late 2nd and 2 prospects [I cant predict the quality of the prospects] - they could land that

I just wished there would be more 3 team deals to address the needs of their teams

EDM needs D -
PHI needs Cap relief for next year -
PIT needs rental scorer

These 3 teams could facilitate a trade based on what they have to offer

Nope, acquiring a rental and an older player is not an option. The time to acquire a Hemsky was 2-3 years ago when this team was still a contender.

To tell the truth his speed has left him from what I briefly saw, but the skills to put the puck in the net are still present.

Great to see the Leafs are still in on Gagner. He would fill that gaping hole they have at smallish 2nd line C.

Pens have no second round pick, and even if they did they have zero interest in Hemsky... we ve heard the same Hemsky to Pitt rumors for years, saying it over and over wont make it true...
Would detroit or Pitt do it for a 6th round pick or a low level prospect, maybe... but that s not happening.
