Easier to cast harsher judgement like that when he's hardly playing so he's got a much smaller sample size. But last season .919 save% in 12 games, 2011-12 he posted a .917% in 26, 2010-11 .907% in 14 games. Not top 10 numbers, but respectable given the small workload he's been handed and its tougher for goalies to get their rhythm. I see Miller being moved and the Sabres getting a nice reward for him. If not a for sure number 1 maybe a potential number 1 and split the season right down the middle between Enroth and someone else next season. Who's in the minors for you guys?

Makarov is currently putting up average numbers in the ECHL. he is far away if he ever makes it. Leuwin (spelling) would be in buffalo before him if it is next season.

That is what he has always done. I think he had a stretch of 12 games at one point where he at least got a point as well. He is just a back up.

Fair enough. Easy to lose faith when you go that long without a win, maybe that affected him too. But as a goalie, you definitely feel pressure when you feel like you need a shutout to get anything out of the game. I think he can find his game again, he is small though, 5'10 for a goalie in the NHL these days aren't common anymore.
