it is awful.... The athletes who are there doing test runs are already demanding changes to the courses and saying that htey are too dangerous to be used. They are refusing to do certain events already. It sounds like all of the mountain sports have been said to be too dangerous... I was also told that there is a MAIN road for athletes and reporters to get up the mountains there that is not completed yet and is a danger for a rock slide with heavy traffic.

Absolutely nothing in place . Had to build everything from scratch . When a North American city bids . They already have lots of infrastructure in place.

I've been seeing these reports. The hotels are like they were built by 7th graders. One set of reporters were told they cant flush toilet paper down the toilet, it just wont work, they have to put their used paper in a waste basket!


My fear is the USA hockey team will be staying in a facility worse than a Central American prison, and the Russian team will be at the Hyatt 5 star, chillin.

Good blog, but I don't think it's worth even debating that Ryan Miller is USA's starter.

Neither of those other guys can hold a candle to what he's done this season or in the past internationally.

Putin wanted to put on a showcase for the world and he is going to look like a fool. If anything happens to any tourists or athletes . He will be screwed in the world community.

They do have "an arena" but it isn't very good or nice... I've played ball in it... it is awful.
