I was at the Buffalo-Colorado game this past Saturday.. man does that team look good even without Stastny and Tanguay.. MacK is a future superstar of this league.. easily be a 100 point guy for numerous seasons in his career.

I can see them letting stastny walk or trade him this year with Duch, ROR, MacK, Talbot, and Mitchall all able to play the pivot. No need in tying up 5+M in him right now.

Hall is a great player.. I love his two way play and how dedicated he plays on every shift...

Yak is working through stuff no doubt but there is a reason why he is in the doghouse.

Yak was in the doghouse, but he's certainly out now. He was scratched for two games in October and one game at the end December. Getting positive reviews recently.

It's not surprising Vanek doesn't want to play for a dysfunctional organization, starting with a meddling owner, a GM who's yet to prove anything other than he can draft first overall fairly well and a coach who shouldn't be coaching in the NHL.

Nah, Yakupov and Eberle would get chewed out by Sutter pretty quick and the leaders on that team all play hard in 3 zones so you kinda have to follow suit. Besides, a guy like Eberle would go from being one of the franchise guys in Edmonton to just a part of a 5 or 6 man core in LA where he doesn't have as much pressure and the team can still win if he doesn't hit the score sheet.

I'd do the second. Just because we aren't signing Meszaros. and we can shed Coburn salary and have a reliable ready dman in Voynov. Wouldn't mind Hall either, but that would never happen

I think you may be posturing a bit to much. You're not going to get back the value you gave up to get him. No chance. Unless a team is willing to give back a Moulson caliber player and multiple 1st round picks, Garth is not getting back what he spent to get him. That's just reality.
